Salaamalaikum (may peace of allah be on you) brothers and sisters ,
these are some verses of quran which forbids us to indulge in bribery and corruption and inspires us to give the charity to the orphans and poors . by giving bribery we are unjust to the person who is harmed by it and also to the community and nation .i had seen my many relatives who are government officers and take bribe and discuss about the bribe they take without any regret to the allah .
when it comes to buy new dresses for eid , they are first , but when it comes to pay zakaat ( charity ) they just ignore it .
i want the readers of this blog to quit bribery , to resist it , to stand against it and to try to show this verses to those peoples or their children.
i am not an islamic scholar and i have tried my best to bring the verses in front of you.
''And do not consume one another's wealth unjustly or send it [in bribery] to the rulers in order that [they might aid] you [to] consume a portion of the wealth of the people in sin, while you know [it is unlawful]''
( chapter 2 , verse 188 , Quran )
''Verily! Allah commands that you should render back the trusts to those, to whom they are due; and that when you judge between men, you judge with justice. Verily, how excellent is the teaching which He (Allah) gives you! Truly, Allah is Ever All-Hearer, All-Seer.''
( chapter 4 , verse 58 , Quran )
"O you who believe! Fulfill (your) obligations...."(chapter 5 , verse 1 , Quran )
''O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm for Allah , witnesses in justice, and do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do.'' ( chapter 5 , verse 8 ,Quran )
''And when the relatives and the orphans and Al-Masakin (the poor) are present at the time of division, give them out of the property, and speak to them words of kindness and justice.''(chapter 4 , verse 8 , Quran)
''And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,''(chapter 2 , verse 155 , Quran )
''Indeed, those who devour the property of orphans unjustly are only consuming into their bellies fire. And they will be burned in a Blaze.''(chapter 4 , verse 10 , Quran )
And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance,
That you not transgress within the balance,
And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the (due)balance.
(chapter 55 , verse 7 to 10 , Quran )
Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense?,
For that is the one who drives away the orphan,
And does not encourage the feeding of the poor
So woe to those who pray,
[But] who are heedless of their prayer -
Those who make show [of their deeds],
And withhold [simple] assistance.
( chapter 107 )
''And it is He who has made you successors upon the earth and has raised some of you above others in degrees [of rank] that He may try you through what He has given you. Indeed, your Lord is swift in penalty; but indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful.''(chapter 6 , verse 165 , Quran )
"We made them (Abraham and his sons) imams who guided in accordance with our commandments, and we taught them how to work righteousness, and how to observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and the obligatory charity (Zakat). To us, they were devoted worshipers."(21:73 , Quran )
"They ask you about giving: say, "The charity you give shall go to the parents, the relatives, the orphans, the poor, and the traveling alien." Any good you do, God is fully aware thereof." (2:215 , Quran)
You shall observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and give the obligatory charity (Zakat), and bow down with those who bow down.(2:43 , Quran )
Any charity you give, or a charitable pledge you fulfill, GOD is fully aware thereof. As for the wicked, they will have no helpers.(2:270 , Quran )
Charity shall go to the poor who are suffering in the cause of GOD, and cannot emigrate. The unaware may think that they are rich, due to their dignity. But you can recognize them by certain signs; they never beg from the people persistently. Whatever charity you give, GOD is fully aware thereof.(2:273 , Quran )
If the debtor is unable to pay, wait for a better time. If you give up the loan as a charity, it would be better for you, if you only knew.(2:280 , Quran )
